HOW TO ADD GRAPHICS TO EMAIL TO CREATE YOUR OWN ECARD GREETINGS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS.

Simple Method
Copy, Paste and Edit a Web Page via Outlook
This method requires you have or find a website that has the design and graphic you need for your ecard. But be sure you use a site you have permission or right to send their photos and images
 
1. Find the site you that has the the look you wish to duplication in your email.
2. Right click on the page and VIEW SOURCE. Select all of the source and copy.
   
For Outlook Express
3. Open a new email and in Format menu select Rich Text HTML. At the foot of the email you will see 3 tabs - select the Souce Tab. Select all of the text in the body of the page, delete then Paste. Now click the Edit tab.
4. You will see the webpage you copied. You can now edit the text directly. Send a test to yourself before sending out
   
For Outlook
3 Open NotePad and paste the source. Save to the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Stationery and give the file a name with the extension ".htm" Make sure the file type is set to "Any".
4. In Outlook set your Mail Format Setting to HTML and uncheck Microsoft Office Word as the editor. Under the Actions menu select New Mail Using > More Stationary. Select the file you saved in notepad.
5. You can now edit the and customize the page. Send a test to yourself before sending out

There are other, more custom, and more complex ways to do this, from using using Microsoft Word to programs like Dreamweaver to design your ecard, but the trick is to making sure the images/photos are hosted on a web server. By copying and pasting the source code of a web page you will ensure that the page is pulling graphics from a web server, thus ensuring the look will be consistant to its viewers.
